SPONSORS

At Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, we believe a cruise is different to a holiday. A cruise is about the joy of the journey, as well as the destinations you visit, and exploring the world from the wonderful vantage point of the ship and the sea.

We plan our cruises differently. Our team of Journey Planners evolve our itineraries every year – unlike some other cruise lines who always sail the same routes. We also put as much time into planning scenic cruising on every sailing as we do in choosing the destinations themselves. As a result, we have won Cruise Critic’s award for best itineraries 5 years in a row.

Our smaller-sized ships have been elegantly designed and they all look and feel like ships with wide open deck spaces as well as lounges and restaurants which have been meticulously planned to ensure you have a wonderful experience. The smaller size of our ships also allows us access to more interesting places, such as Norway’s lesser-known Fjords. It also means we can dock in the heart of some of the world’s most fascinating cities.

With sailings from five departure ports around the UK, your next Fred. Olsen cruise is closer than you think.

DFDS has since its foundation in 1866 built a unique infrastructure of ferry routes connecting European countries with each other as well as with Türkiye. We mostly transport freight units on the routes in addition to around 5 million passengers in normal years.

We also offer logistics services rooted in the regions served by our ferry routes. They range from door-door transports of full-loads to complex solutions for major industrials.

In 1908, Harold Perry founded a business selling motor accessories, and in 1912 was appointed as Ford’s main dealer for London. Perrys expanded into other areas over the years and even acquired a tractor dealership in the 1940s.

It was 1982 that we branched out from Ford into other franchises, starting with Vauxhall. This expansion into other vehicle brands and locations continued through to the end of the millennium and laid the foundations for the 51 dealerships and 30 locations you’ll find us at today. The pioneering launch of perrys.co.uk website in 1998 was one of our most significant milestones, the first dealer group to venture online.
